Hopefully this will supply answers to many of those who are a little confused about what this site is.
First of all the WebMaster would like to apologize
for not having this site more complete.

Know up front that this site is ProWoman!
I hope you have just understood that this is a challenge for you and all to consider what constitutes a good choice. The term "Prochoice" being promoted predominantly in most media as only one choice, the choice of abortion. What else is there? Why is that the only choice? Because if you believe what some say, if you don't promote abortion you are anti-choice. This site partially exists so this lame argument is brought to light.
As of yet, I have not seen that occur with Planned Parenthood. Ask someone who has been there that would be honest about it. The WebMaster was (note:WAS) VERY for abortion, and has been privy to much of the inner workings and motivations behind the industry. If you look at the lower section of the home page it reads: "This Site is dedicated to all the women that were told they had a choice, but never had it explained to them that there is more than one. " Someone challenged the WebMaster to seriously evaluate arguments for and against and let them stand on their own merit. The findings were shocking! It is very hard to "peel away" feelings to see the facts. We are hoping that this site will post the most accurate information possible. (So if you have any, let us know.) Abortion advocates have shamefully acted like the tobacco industry did in the past, trying to say there are no harmful effects. From everything we have found so far, Abortion would be the absolute worst choice out of all that are available. Which brings me to an important point... An abortion is recognized as a medical procedure. Ask yourself; What would qualify an individual to recommend a medical procedure? (let alone a web site)
Nothing sparks more anger than a debate about Abortion.
Let us first define what the sides are based on. Instead of a line, think of this as a diamond.
Good motives and bad are revealed. On top sides we have a group
of individuals who truly believe they want to help women and on the bottom we
have people that are not interested in checking out anything, in their minds
they have arrived and think they have all the answers. Those on the bottom are
where we get most of our nasty mail, which is great fodder by the way, to raise
funds for this site. This site's position is currently somewhere in the top
right. Many people just don't understand what
this site is about. This site is here to; Challenge opinions about the choices, make documented information more available, and provide empowerment for women's choices that don't involve someone else's' bottom line.
Many people have criticized us for not calling
abortion murder and therefore assume we promote abortion.
For clarification: As a policy we do not support any procedure that has known
risks that would be irresponsible. Abortion has too many known risks.

I am disgusted by your site. "empowering women to make informed choices"
and i have a bridge in brooklyn i'd like to sell you. It ought to read "empowering
women to make the choices we think they should make by
using guilt and scare tactics". You are not pro choice, you are
pro-OUR choice for you. you site is misleading, and it does a great injustice
to girls who are looking for support. The last thing they need in such a trying
time is you guilt trip and the message that they
are horrible people if they go through with an abortion. shame on you.
Apparently, the writer of the above believes that a woman is not emotionally capable of processing anything intellectually. He thinks it would be better to tell them comfortable lies than allowing them to consider any uncomfortable truth. Anything outside of that is judgmental. This is the same mind set that would stand by and allow someone to jump off a building or gas Jews without comment. So why would he write us? Because we are challenging the status quo which makes him feel uncomfortable.

I think it's absolutly shameful that this is the level you must sink to to try to win women over to your side. This website is deceitful and wrong. A well educated woman that realizes that there are options out there will see through this front. For the women that don't they are just mindless sheep and I'm sad that they'll be bringing babyies into this world. The last thing the world needs is more ignorant people over populating it.
The above statement is a clear illustration as to why some individuals fanatically support abortion. To them, it is about ridding the mindless sheep from the earth's gene pool. Ironically, in the light of his ignorance to the advances in genetic engineering, and lack of good spelling habits, what would that make the writer of the above statement?

We are Pro-Woman!
Typically anyone that is outside of being: Totally for abortion, Supporting abortion, or recommending abortion is cast as a part of a pro-life conspiracy. That's like saying that people that say motorcycles are dangerous, are car driving conservative fanatics bent on banning everyone's right to ride on motorcycles. We are critical of the abortion industry akin to those who were asking for the truth about tobacco. They accused everyone who had questions or spoke in favor of warning people that tobacco caused cancer as a part of a 'Left wing conspiracy' as well.

i have only one word for u people u are sick in the head,how dare u think that killing an innocent life is alright. u people shouldnt have any rite to a web site,that saying killing a baby is alrite.i hope all u people go somewhere were its nice a warm if u know what i mean, but u probely dont sence u think killing a baby , and yes its a baby u can give it every name u want to its baby its living and what u are doing i murder.
Argumentum ad homonym is no way to win a debate, persuade, or even look good. This allows for no response or dialog. I hope this does not go on at home with other individuals. There is an extreme danger in accusing someone of murder, it can be used to justify force as a defense. Violence will only begat violence. Truly a loose loose scenario.
We would truly like to see a positive dialog between those of differing opinions.

Do you want your voice to be heard?
As you probably have figured out, there is a lot that needs to be added to this web site.
Intelligent input is much of what will shape this site, yours or even dissenting opinions is appreciated, as long as they are based on provable fact. The WebMaster has come to the support the information on this site based on an ongoing investigation of what would really serve women best. The better the information the greater likelihood of it being posted.
